Privacy Policy

Last updated: 13 October 2026

Managed IT Services Surrey respects your privacy. This policy sets out what personal information we collect, why we collect it and how we look after it. We follow British Columbia’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and, where it applies, Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

What we collect

When you phone, email or send a form, we collect the details you choose to give us. That usually means your name, company, work email, phone number, office location, number of staff, what you need help with, your current IT setup and any notes.

When you browse the site, standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed and referring page may be recorded in server logs.

Why we collect it

To answer your enquiry, arrange an IT assessment, prepare a proposal, provide services you hire us for, and meet our legal obligations. We may contact you about your enquiry by phone or email.

Who we share it with

We share information with our service delivery partners when they help assess or provide services to your business, and with service providers who help run this website, such as hosting and email delivery. They may use it only for that purpose.

We never sell your personal information. We may disclose it where the law requires us to.

Information in your systems

When we support your IT, we may be able to see information stored in your systems. We access it only as needed to provide the service, and the terms of that access are set out in your written service agreement.

How long we keep it

Only as long as we need it for the purposes above and to meet legal and record-keeping requirements. After that it is securely deleted or anonymised.

How we protect it

We use reasonable physical, administrative and technical safeguards suited to the information involved, including multi-factor authentication and encryption. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security.

Cookies

This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. If spam protection is enabled on our forms, it may set a cookie needed for that check.

Your rights

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent to further contact. Email hello@manageditservicessurrey.com or call 604-359-5284.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version and its date are always posted on this page.
